iPiggy
An iPhone app used to manage your personal finances, with the goal of saving up money. Made with Swift.
With high school graduates going off to college or universities, they are often met with new challenges. One of those challenges are finances. This is especially prevalent to students studying and living abroad. Their once lavish lifestyles supplied by their parents can no longer be met. They will need to start thinking and managing their finances.
This issue with money management does not only persist with university students, however. Money is a very important thing in our society that we all interact with it on a daily basis. As such, it is extremely important to be able to manage those financials properly.
iPiggy is an app that aims to tackle that issue by providing its users with a platform to help manage their finances. iPiggy can help them set up goals, and how much they would like to save in a given period amount of time. This includes the key feature of recommending the user how much they should spend each day in order to meet their desired target. Users can also set up their wishlists and target achievements to help keep them motivated to save their money.
iPiggy is a group project for my iOS Foundation Program Apple Developer Academy at BINUS International. I was tasked in writing the app using Swift, converting the mock up into a working and functional prototype complete with working database and user interactions.
